Close to 90 Air Travels Associated to Epstein Reportedly Landed at or Took Off from UK Airfields
An investigation has uncovered that close to 90 flights connected to the late financier Jeffrey Epstein allegedly touched down at and left UK airfields, with some reportedly transporting British women who assert they were victimized by the found guilty child sex offender.
Flight Logs Uncover Trail of Movement
The travel manifests were among thousands of legal papers and papers released by the estate of Jeffrey Epstein that have been released over the previous twelve months. The review found 87 flights linked to Epstein – encompassing many that were previously unknown – arriving or departing from British airfields between the start of the 1990s and 2018.
Passenger Details and After Guilty Verdict Flights
Unidentified “females” were listed among the individuals entering and exiting the UK. Significantly, 15 of these British airport journeys took place subsequent to Epstein’s 2008 guilty verdict for soliciting sex from a underage person.
“This is ‘appalling’ that there had never been a ‘full-scale UK investigation’ into his activities in the country,” stated US lawyers representing hundreds of Epstein survivors.
UK Survivors and Court Cases
A statement from one of the UK-based survivors aided the conviction of Epstein’s accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell of child sex-trafficking in the US in 2021. Yet, that individual has not been approached by UK authorities, according to her attorney based in Florida.
In a response, the London's Metropolitan Police indicated they had “not been provided with any additional evidence that would support reopening the probe.” They commented, “If fresh and pertinent evidence be brought to our attention, including any arising from the release of documents in the US, we will review it.”
Continuing Document Release and Judicial Decisions
A bill to disclose every document held by the American government in concerning Epstein was approved by the US Congress last month. The Department of Justice has until 19 December to comply. A vast number of files are anticipated to be released.
In a related development, a US judge decided last week that the department could publicly release investigative materials from a sex-trafficking case against Maxwell, Epstein’s close friend, who is serving a 20-year prison sentence over the charges.
